  • Monetary Donations

    Berkley Cares Food Pantry has been designated as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. In most cases your monetary donation(s) allows us to get more food for our neighbors, than with food donations. The donated money can buy more food through local retailers and our other suppliers.

    Donations can be made online or via check. Checks payable to "Berkley Cares Food Pantry" can be mailed to:

  • Food Donations

    The pantry can accept non-expired perishable and non-perishable food items, as well as personal hygiene & cleaning products. Please see our Amazon wish list for our most needed items.

    Donations are accepted on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. at Berkley First United Methodist Church, 2820 Twelve Mile Rd, Berkley, MI 48072.

    -Please drive up to the east side of the church (off of Kipling Ave) and a volunteer will assist you.

    -Please DO NOT use the alley as this is reserved for care box distribution to our guests.

    -Berkley Cares Food Pantry is UNABLE to accept clothing, home goods, furniture, children’s items, or any other used items.

    DONATIONS LEFT ON THE GROUND ARE PROHIBITED.
