About the Pantry
Berkley Cares Food Pantry was established to help address the growing need for food assistance in Oakland County, Michigan by providing perishable and non-perishable goods to our neighbors in need. We serve individuals & families, seniors, veterans/military families, the displaced community, the unemployed, and the working poor. We treat all with integrity and compassion; No questions. No judgment.
If you or someone you know could benefit from our services, we are here for you. All guests will feel safe and seen.

Pantry Day
We aim to provide individuals and families in need with 3-4 days of perishable and non-perishable food items in each Care Box.

Donate
We accept monetary, perishable/non-perishable food items, and personal hygiene donations.

Volunteer

In Michigan, 1 in 8 people experience hunger. As of January 2021, the overall food insecurity rate is 19.1 percent. In Oakland County, the food insecurity rate went from 10.1 percent of the population prior to COVID-19 to 15.1 percent.

At Berkley Cares Food Pantry, we aim to help our neighbors meet their food needs, one care box at a time.
